Erasmus+ for Staff
Erasmus+ is a European Union program that supports educational exchanges not only for students. Faculty and administrative staff at universities can participate in activities abroad related to their professional development.

These may include trips to teach courses to students at a foreign university or trips to participate in training. The purpose of the training must be to improve the employee’s competencies relevant to their job responsibilities at the sending institution. The National Agency for the Erasmus+ Program and its implementing body in Poland is the Foundation for the Development of the Education System.
Funding to enable employees to travel abroad to universities participating in the Program and to partner countries is awarded through a grant to universities that hold the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE). UJW holds this charter – check here.
1. Trips under financial agreements KA131-2022 and KA131-2023
These include staff mobility for teaching purposes (STA) and staff mobility (including administrative staff) for training purposes (STT) to Erasmus+ Program countries, i.e., countries belonging to the European Union and 6 countries outside the EU (the Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Turkey).
UJW has agreements with universities in the Program countries: Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Portugal.
