Erasmus+

This is a European Union program that supports educational exchanges. Under the program, students and staff at UJW can study, do internships, teach, or participate in training abroad. The National Agency for the Erasmus+ Program and its implementing body in Poland is the Foundation for the Development of the Education System.

ERASMUS+ Card

By decision of the European Commission, the Jan Wyżykowski University has been awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the years 2021–2027. The charter authorizes the university to carry out activities under the Erasmus+ Program.

ERASMUS+ Policy Statement

In accordance with its development strategy, UJW is expanding its international cooperation with other universities.

Principles of International Cooperation

  • establishing international cooperation to build partnerships and promote international mobility and collaboration;
  • International cooperation should benefit students and faculty members. It is part of preparing students for their future careers in an international environment;
  • To ensure effective cooperation, our university collaborates with foreign universities that share a similar profile – both technical and social in nature – and offer similar academic specializations;
  • conducting research in the fields of information technology, mechatronics, as well as international relations, European studies, international security, education, management, and administration.

Partners

Given its local focus, the Jan Wyżykowski University collaborates with partners in Central and Eastern Europe. The university would like to sign agreements with universities in Western Europe. The process of internationalization and the development of scientific research contribute to the expansion of international cooperation in the fields of teaching and research.

Projects carried out under international contracts must be consistent with our university’s development strategy. They should also meet the following objectives:

  • broaden students' knowledge and skills, especially practical ones,
  • contributes to the professional development and career advancement of university employees,
  • improve the quality of education and research,
  • establish and foster long-term international partnerships,
  • to establish and foster close cooperation between universities and businesses.

Target audience

The main target group for mobility programs is undergraduate and graduate students. Mobility is considered an important part of the curriculum for top students, offering them the opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills, as well as a better understanding of other nations and cultures.

Jan Wyżykowski University aims to sign multilateral agreements with European universities and increase the mobility of students and faculty.
