Applications are now being accepted for the postgraduate program in Underground Mining at UJW

Enrollment is now open for the two-semester postgraduate program in Underground Mining at the Jan Wyżykowski University. This program is designed for engineers and specialists who wish to develop their professional skills and prepare to take on leadership roles in underground mining operations.
The curriculum was developed in accordance with the requirements of the Higher Mining Authority and the current needs of the industry. It combines specialized technical knowledge with practical training for positions in mining operations supervision and senior supervision, as well as for managers and assistant managers of the following departments: mining operations, blasting, rockbursts, and ventilation.
The sessions will be led by experienced practitioners and experts affiliated with, among others, KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. and the Regional Mining Office. As a result, participants will gain knowledge based on real-world experience and learn about the latest solutions used in modern underground mining.
The program covers, among other things, topics related to the design and operation of solid mineral deposits, the organization of mining processes, the analysis of natural hazards, occupational safety, geological and mining law, and the use of modern monitoring and management systems.
