Jan Wyżykowski University invites you to the 29th Lower Silesian Science Festival

Jan Wyżykowski University is once again involved in organizing the prestigious Lower Silesian Science Festival. The 29th edition of this popular celebration of knowledge and the popularization of science is just around the corner. On this occasion, we cordially invite students from schools in our region to participate in unique lectures and workshops prepared by our faculty members.

The program covers a wide range of topics – from engineering, advanced technologies, and human rights, through personal development and psychology, to exciting lab workshops and team-building games.

EVENT PROGRAM

Day 1 – October 27 (Tuesday)

  1. 9:00 a.m. – Speaker: Marek Jaskólski, PhD
  • “Zero-Emission Transportation – Facts and Myths” (lecture)
  • Target audience: 7th- and 8th-grade elementary school students

  • “What Is Neurodiversity?” (workshop)
  • Target audience: 7th- and 8th-grade elementary school students

Registration and Applications

Registration for the events runs from September 1 through September 15, or until all spots are filled. Due to the workshop-style nature of some of the sessions, the number of spots is limited – spots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
