JUWENALIA – UJW PICNIC

JUWENALIA – UJW PICNIC, June 8, 2024, starting at 3:00 p.m., on the grounds of the palace in Sucha Górna. This year’s Juwenalia will be held under the theme “UJW Picnic.” This event aims to bring together our academic community – students, alumni, faculty, and their families. We want everyone to find something they enjoy and spend time in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. What’s more, during the Juwenalia opening ceremony, the Mayor of Polkowice, Mr. Wiesław Wabik, will present students with a symbolic key to the city, which will further highlight the unique nature of this event. It’s very important to us that Juwenalia be an opportunity to celebrate together and have a good time! We’ve planned plenty of attractions for both children and adults. For the little ones, we’ve prepared sports games, face painting, and tattoos – washable ones, of course. Children will also have the chance to receive small gifts. We’ve also planned many interesting activities for adults. These will include sports competitions, such as a tug-of-war and a basketball shot contest. Of course, all of this will take place in the spirit of healthy competition and good fun. In addition, music will be playing in the background throughout the picnic to make the time more enjoyable and create the right atmosphere. We want all participants to feel at ease and be able to enjoy the moment. For those interested, we’ve also organized a tour of the beautiful palace in Sucha Górna. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn a bit of history and see one of the most beautiful places in our area. A trip to the palace will certainly add an extra cultural dimension to our Juwenalia. We’ve prepared a traditional picnic spread for all participants – you’ll be able to enjoy sausages grilled over a bonfire, bread with lard, and lightly pickled cucumbers. We want everyone to feel like they’re at a real picnic and have a good time with friends and family. We hope that the “UJW Picnic” will attract many participants and become a tradition at our university. We want this event to bring our community together and provide a moment of respite from our daily responsibilities. We’re looking forward to having fun, seeing smiles on everyone’s faces, and creating memories that will stay with us for a long time. We want Juwenalia to be a time of joy and shared celebration.
