Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing

As part of the collaboration between UJW and the Quality Research Center, we were able to organize an inspiring visit to the Quality Control Department “Polkowice-Sieroszowice” for the students of our partner school, Bolesław Krzywousty High School No. 1 in Głogów, an inspiring visit to the “Polkowice-Sieroszowice” Quality Control Department of the CBJ. A two-hour presentation was prepared for the participants, covering laboratory activities and the challenges the CBJ faces on a daily basis in supporting KGHM in maintaining the highest global standards.

This visit was made possible thanks to the excellent cooperation between UJW and CBJ, as well as our ongoing relationship with High School No. 1 in Głogów, which identified the need for such a visit, and we at UJW helped organize it – says Jan Walczak, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Technical Sciences in Polkowice. – Initiatives like this integrate us with our socio-economic environment and build a network of strong relationships throughout the Copper Basin region. The experience and knowledge gained are, of course, invaluable and will certainly pay off in the future,” adds the Dean, who also participated in the event.
