Diplomas and certificates awarded in Lubin!

On May 9 of this year, the 2022/2023 engineering degree conferment ceremony was held for graduates of the UJW Lubin Branch Campus, along with the presentation of certificates to KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. scholarship recipients. By decision of Rector Dr. Tadeusz Kierzyk, Assoc. Prof., the title of Best Graduate in the Management and Production Engineering program for the 2022/2023 academic year was awarded to Mateusz Mila, Eng., while the Primus Inter Pares 2023 distinction for engineering studies was awarded to Albert Bodek, BEng, a graduate of the Mining and Geology program. It has become a tradition at our university for our partner, KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., to award students in the Mining and Geology program who achieved the highest grade point averages during the winter/summer semester of the current academic year. During the ceremony, the following students received certificates and academic scholarships:
- Radosław Przybylak, Mikołaj Łochaza, and Szymon Szwed (first semester),
- Marta Gąska, Magdalena Zawadzka, Barbara Pikulik-Kwas (3rd semester)
- Mariusz Łazarek, Marek Siwak, Krzysztof Krzyszczak (5th semester), and
- Radosław Wysocki, BEng Marcin Bajger, BEng Albert Bodek, BEng (7th semester)
The awards were presented by Tadeusz Kierzyk, PhD, Assoc. Prof. and Rector; Marek Makuch, Chief Human Resources Officer at KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.; Arleta Chorąży, Director of the Employee Performance Department at KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., and Anna Wojciechowicz, BEng, PhD, Dean of the Lubin Branch Campus.
