UJW in the H2VE Project

On July 5 of this year, Marek Jaskólski, PhD announced that the Jan Wyżykowski University, together with the Association for the Development of Energy Innovation and Innovation AG, were the only organizations from Poland to join the international H2VE project, which supports the development of vocational education in the hydrogen sector. Participation in the project is a tremendous opportunity to strengthen the local community’s skills and shape the future. Together with partners from Europe and Africa, we will create a network of Vocational Excellence Centers. H2VE (Hydrogen Valley Vocational Excellence Hub) is a project implemented under the Erasmus+ program, supporting the development of skills ecosystems related to Hydrogen Valleys and addressing the needs of the labor market in the hydrogen sector. The project aims to establish six (6) Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in Europe (Italy, Greece, Germany, Poland, Latvia) and in Africa (Ghana) to support the development of a flexible and skilled workforce. Each CoVE serves as a hub for collaboration, fostering knowledge exchange by equipping students, teachers, and professionals with key competencies and co-developing training strategies aligned with local priorities. The project brings together vocational education providers, industry partners, and regional stakeholders to develop adaptive training programs that address local technological, economic, and social needs. Through international collaboration and mutual learning, the project will promote excellence in vocational education and scalable solutions, contributing to the EU’s green and digital transformation and strengthening Europe’s position as a leader in sustainable hydrogen technologies. Duration: through January 31, 2029. Project co-funded by the European Union.
