Summary of the 18th Lower Silesian Science Festival

On October 22–23, the 18th Lower Silesian Science Festival 2025 took place at Jan Wyżykowski University. This year’s edition of the festival attracted nearly 1,000 participants. Today, lectures were held during which speakers presented topics related to artificial intelligence, space, emotions, neurodiversity, and the uniqueness of the human mind. Among the speakers were:
- Marcin Wojciechowski, BEng, MSc (UJW) – “Can Artificial Intelligence Think?”
- Anna Dzikowska, BEng, PhD (AWL) – “Race to Heaven”
- Regina Korzeniowska, PhD (UJW) – “Discovering Neurodiversity”
- Michał Szymczyk, BEng, PhD (UJW) – “The Alchemy of AI: Transforming Code into Intelligence”
- Joanna Mesjasz, PhD (UJW) – “High Sensitivity: A Gift or a Challenge”
- Antoni C. Mituś, PhD, DSc, ProfTit (UJW) – “Interstellar and Science”
