Last weekend, our university hosted meetings with representatives from local companies. On the first day, we hosted representatives from the HR Department of KGHM ZANAM, who introduced students to current job openings, internship and work-study opportunities, as well as details regarding the recruitment process and career development paths within the company. The following day, students had the opportunity to meet with representatives from the CCC Group. During the discussions, participants were able to learn about internship and apprenticeship opportunities, employment prospects, and hiring requirements, as well as discuss career development opportunities within the company. Direct contact with employers generated significant interest among the students and provided a valuable opportunity to ask questions, address concerns, and gain insight into the job market. We would like to thank KGHM ZANAM and the CCC Group for their presence and commitment, and the students for their active participation in the event. These activities were carried out as part of the “Academic Compass: A Comprehensive Monitoring and Support Program at UJW” project, implemented under Measure 01.05 “Skills in Higher Education” of the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 program, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus. #EuropeanFunds #EUFunds
