Last week was a time of numerous meetings with secondary school students and activities promoting the Jan Wyżykowski University’s educational offerings.

Among other places, we visited the Job Fair at the School Complex in Chocianów, where we spoke with students about opportunities for further education, college majors, and student life. We also met with high school seniors at the Jan Wyżykowski School Complex in Głogów, discussing the topic of choosing an educational path and making their first career decisions.

The next step was a visit to the Leonardo da Vinci Automotive and Construction School Complex in Głogów, where we conducted workshops on how to prepare a resume and navigate the recruitment process. We concluded the week with a meeting with students from High School No. 2 in Lubin, where we presented the university’s programs and opportunities for further development after graduating from high school.

All the meetings took place in a very positive atmosphere and drew a lot of interest from the young people. Thank you for your participation and the inspiring conversations.

These activities are carried out as part of the project “Academic Compass: A Comprehensive Monitoring and Support Program at UJW,” under Measure 01.05 “Skills in Higher Education” of the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 program, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus.
