UJW is visiting more high schools in the region.
This time, we visited Złotoryja – a city with a rich history and a unique atmosphere. We visited the Major Henryk Sucharski Vocational School Complex and the John Paul II High School. At the first of these institutions, a university lecturer led workshops on logistics. At the same time, a representative from the Academic Careers Office met with high school seniors to discuss opportunities for further education, the university’s academic offerings, and informed career planning. The high school also hosted a presentation on the potential of UJW, featuring discussions on the job market, skills development, and choosing a path for further education.
The next stop was Góra, where we met with seniors from the Adam Mickiewicz High School. It was an opportunity to present our academic programs, discuss career development opportunities, and answer questions about college life and future careers.
All of the visits took place in a very positive atmosphere and generated a great deal of interest among the students. Thank you for your openness, commitment, and warm welcome. We look forward to future meetings – this time on the campus of Jan Wyżykowski University.
These activities are carried out as part of the project “Academic Compass: A Comprehensive Monitoring and Support Program at UJW,” under Measure 01.05 “Skills in Higher Education” of the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 program, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus.
