Students at Jan Wyżykowski University can now enjoy an even more comfortable and modern Academic Careers Office. As part of the “Academic Compass: A Comprehensive Monitoring and Support Program at UJW” project, the office has been equipped with new furniture and modern equipment, creating a functional space conducive to meetings, consultations, and career planning. Work was also carried out to prepare and arrange the rooms, resulting in a welcoming space tailored to the needs of students and career counselors. The new facilities allow for individual consultations, workshops, and meetings with employers to take place in a comfortable setting. The Academic Careers Office supports students and graduates in making informed career plans. It offers career counseling, assistance with preparing application materials, developing skills, finding internships and work placements, and establishing contacts with employers. This modern space fosters relationship-building, the exchange of experiences, and the implementation of initiatives that support professional development. The renovation of the Academic Careers Office is another component of the comprehensive student support system implemented at Jan Wyżykowski University. The investment has not only raised the standard of the infrastructure but has also created a space conducive to the development of skills, student engagement, and better preparation for students entering the job market.

These tasks are carried out as part of the project “Academic Compass: A Comprehensive Monitoring and Support Program at UJW,” under Measure 01.05 “Skills in Higher Education” of the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 program, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus.
