St. Nicholas Day Donation Drive

The “Volunteers” Student Pedagogical Research Club invites the entire academic community to participate in the St. Nicholas Day Gift Drive for the students of the Special Educational Center in Wschowa. The Center’s boarding school currently houses 19 young people aged 10 to 22 who face various developmental challenges on a daily basis, such as physical disabilities, autism and Asperger’s syndrome, hearing impairment or total hearing loss, intellectual disability, visual impairment or total blindness, and psychomotor retardation. What can you donate?

• candy
• school supplies (e.g., crayons, markers, erasers, scissors, coloring books, pens, pencils)
• food items (e.g., fruit jelly, pudding, jellies, vanilla sugar, baking powder, canned fruit)
• Christmas tree ornaments and holiday decorations
