What will you learn?

Child Development and Family FunctioningYou will expand your knowledge of the psychological development of children and adolescents and of the impact of family relationships on their functioning.
Psychological Assessment of Children and FamiliesYou'll learn how to identify a child's needs, challenges, and strengths, and how to use that assessment to plan appropriate support.
Psychological Support and InterventionYou will improve your skills in working with children with special needs, supporting parents and caregivers, and responding to crisis situations.
Methods for Working with Children and FamiliesYou will explore, among other things, early developmental support, mediation, social skills training, systemic family therapy, art therapy, and music therapy.

What will your studies look like?

  1. First year

    You'll lay the foundations of psychology

    • You will discover the basics of psychology and its main areas
    • You will understand the biological foundations of human behavior
    • You will learn how to analyze human development
    • You will improve your basic psychological skills
  2. Second year

    You'll learn about the mechanisms of human behavior

    • You will expand your knowledge of personality, emotions, and motivation
    • You will analyze cognitive processes and individual differences
    • You will discover the importance of relationships and the social environment
    • You will gain a foundation in methodology and psychometrics
  3. Third year

    You'll delve into diagnosis and clinical psychology

    • You will be able to apply psychological assessment methods
    • You will deepen your knowledge of psychopathology and neuropsychology
    • You will practice conducting psychological interviews
    • You will understand how people with various difficulties and disorders function
  4. Fourth year

    You'll focus on your child and family

    • You will explore the needs of children who require special support
    • You will learn how to support children, parents, and caregivers
    • You will analyze how a child functions in family and educational settings
    • You will improve your skills in intervention and developmental support
  5. 5th year

    You'll develop practical skills as a psychologist

    • You will expand your skills in assessing children and families
    • You will use mediation and a systems approach in your work with families
    • You will practice TUS, art therapy, and other supportive methods
    • You will complete your studies with a master’s thesis
  6. Internships

    960 hours of work experience

    • Three stages, each lasting 320 hours, that will help you apply psychological knowledge in a real-world professional setting
