Yesterday, representatives from the Department of Promotion and Local Initiatives – Aleksandra Kurek and Agata Kulik – participated in an education fair at the John Paul II School of Economics in Głogów, organized by the Volunteer Labor Corps. During the event, they spoke with students about the high school graduation exam, opportunities for further education, and choosing the right field of study. Particular attention was paid to issues related to informed planning of one’s educational path and analyzing the factors worth considering when making decisions about further educational development. The meeting provided an opportunity for a substantive exchange of experiences, to answer numerous questions from the students, and to present the forms of support available during the admissions process and while studying. We would like to thank all participants for their active participation and engagement, and the organizers for the invitation.
These activities are carried out as part of the “Academic Compass: A Comprehensive Monitoring and Support Program at UJW” project, under Measure 01.05 “Skills in Higher Education” of the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 program, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus.
