We invite you to participate in the International Scientific Conference “Contemporary Challenges in Local Government Management – A Multifaceted Analysis,” organized by UJW. The event will take place on May 15, 2024, in Polkowice. The aim of the conference is to present the results of scientific research and best practices, as well as to facilitate discussions on social changes related to the application of modern approaches by local government communities in Poland and around the world. Furthermore, the conference aims to create a platform for discussion among researchers, representatives of local government bodies, and community leaders regarding the factors determining contemporary socio-economic development at various spatial scales. Perspectives from the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences may all prove relevant to the conference’s themes. The event will be held in a hybrid format. The aim of the conference is to present research findings and best practices, as well as to facilitate a discussion regarding social changes in the field of contemporary local government practices in Poland and around the world. Furthermore, the conference aims to create a platform for discussion among academics, representatives of local self-government units, and community leaders regarding the factors shaping contemporary socioeconomic development at various spatial scales. Perspectives from the humanities, social sciences, and the natural sciences will be of particular interest to the conference. Conference Date: May 15, 2024.
