Diplomas, awards, and certificates were presented!

On April 16 of this year, the 2023/2024 engineering degree conferment ceremony and the presentation of certificates to KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. scholarship recipients took place. By decision of Rector Dr. Paweł Grenia, Assoc. Prof., the title of Best Graduate in the program for the 2023/2024 academic year was awarded to:

  1. Paulina Dzięcioł, BEng – a graduate of the bachelor’s program in Management and Production Engineering
  2. Marek Żołubak, BEng, B.S. – graduate of the bachelor’s program in Computer Science
  3. Justyna Żołnierczyk, BEng, B.S. – graduate of the bachelor’s program in Mining and Geology
  4. Dominik Pabich, BEng, B.S. – graduate of the bachelor’s program in Mechatronics

The 2024 Primus Inter Pares Award for the Bachelor of Engineering program was presented to Katarzyna Szczotka, Eng., a graduate of the Logistics program, who achieved a cumulative GPA of 4.92, while in the master’s program, the award went to Tomasz Salamoński, BEng, MSc in Mining and Geology, with a cumulative GPA of 5.00. The following students received awards for the best thesis in the 2023–2024 academic year:

  2. Agata Michalczak, MSc Eng. – graduate of the master’s program in Mining and Geology

  4. Martyna Kaczmarek, BEng – a graduate of the bachelor’s program in Mining and Geology
  5. Andrzej Grużewski, BEng, B.S. – graduate of the bachelor’s program in Mining and Geology

  7. Damian Jankowski, Eng. – graduate of the bachelor’s program in Management and Production Engineering

Prof. and Vice-Rector; Anna Wojciechowicz, BEng, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Technical Sciences; and Marek Wachnik – Head of the Recruitment and Employer Branding Department at KGHM.
