Conclusion of the #MiedźMaturę Project

We have completed the #MiedźMaturę pilot project, which aimed to prepare students in the KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. sponsored classes for the high school graduation exam.

This year’s high school seniors took part in three free courses:

• Mathematics – Basic Level,
• Mathematics – Advanced Level,
• Physics – Advanced Level.

Yesterday, certificates were awarded to all participants, and prizes were given to the top performers. The awards were presented by Miłosz Czopek, PhD, Assoc. Prof. and Vice-Rector; Anna Wojciechowicz, BEng, PhD, Assoc. Prof. and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Technology; and Marek Wachnik – Head of the Recruitment and Employer Branding Department at KGHM.

The math class was taught by Ms. Małgorzata Głowacka – who was present at the meeting – while the physics class was taught by Mr. Stanisław Lis.

The project was carried out in collaboration with our partner, KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.
