

A Board of Directors meeting was held at the Jan Wyżykowski University, attended by secondary school principals from the region. During the meeting, the Council elected its chair – a position assumed by Piotr Machoń, principal of the School Complex in Chocianów. The meeting was chaired by the university’s Rector, Dariusz Zając, PhD, Assoc. Prof..
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss key directions for the university’s development and the current initiatives being undertaken by its administration. School principals presented their needs and expectations regarding the university and shared their experiences in the area of educational cooperation.
The conference featured a lecture by Regina Korzeniowska, PhD titled “Functional Assessment as a Tool for Supporting Students – A Principal’s Perspective,” which drew considerable interest from the participants and served as a starting point for a discussion on effectively supporting students.

The meeting highlighted the importance of cooperation between the university and schools and provided a platform for exchanging experiences and ideas on the development of education in the region.
