Collaboration Between UJW and Elementary School No. 1 in Polkowice

Yesterday, the Jan Wyżykowski University established a partnership with Jan Wyżykowski Elementary School No. 1 in Polkowice to carry out innovative and research-based activities,
aimed at finding new solutions to support student well-being and the quality of the school’s operations. The agreement was signed on behalf of UJW by the Rector, Dariusz Zając, PhD, an Associate Professor at UJW, and the Representative for Academic Affairs, Renata Socha, PhD.
Under the terms of the agreement, the university provides academic supervision for a pedagogical experiment being conducted in a school setting. The project focuses on observing the impact of music on the school atmosphere, students’ well-being, and their functioning in their everyday educational environment.
The university provides substantive support at every stage of the project. This collaboration exemplifies the integration of theory with educational practice and the building of relationships between the academic community and the elementary school.
