Thesis Defenses at UJW

Absolwenci z oprawionymi pracami dyplomowymi pozują na schodach przed wejściem do UJW.

In recent days, the Jan Wyżykowski University hosted the thesis defenses for students in the engineering program. It was an important moment that capped off years of study, work on projects, and the acquisition of knowledge and professional skills.

In the Mining and Geology program, undergraduate students in the specializations of Mine Operation Techniques and Mining Machinery and Equipment successfully defended their theses. Master’s thesis defenses were also held, resulting in 22 graduates earning their master’s degrees.

Another group of students graduated from the Management and Production Engineering program, with a specialization in Production Process Engineering, where 12 students earned the title of engineer. Thesis defenses were also held in the fields of Mechatronics (9 new engineers) and Logistics (14 new engineers).

During their final exams, students presented the results of their work, answered questions from the examination committees, and presented the design and analytical solutions they had developed.

The examination committees consisted of: Anna Wojciechowska, BEng, PhD, Assoc. Prof.; Michał Szymczyk, BEng, PhD; Zdzisław Polkowski, BEng, PhD, Assoc. Prof.; Grzegorz Jastrzębski, BEng, PhD; Mirosław Lewicki, BEng, PhD; Wojciech Kaczmarek, BEng, PhD; Paweł Stefanek, BEng, PhD; Piotr Krysiak, BEng, PhD; Waldemar Kisielewski, BEng, PhD; Krzysztof Nieśpiałowski, BEng, PhD; and Grzegorz Łomotowski, BEng, PhD

Congratulations to all graduates on successfully completing their studies and earning their bachelor’s degrees in engineering. We wish you continued success in your professional and personal lives.
