The Volunteer Club invites you to join in the fun and lend a hand

The “Wolontariusze” Student Research Club for Educators at the Jan Wyżykowski University invites the academic community to participate in two initiatives to be held soon at the Jan Wyżykowski University.

On March 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Spring Children’s Ball will be held in Building “Z” at UJW in Polkowice to celebrate the first day of spring. The event is open to all children and will be an opportunity for everyone to have fun together, enjoy activities, and socialize in a joyful, spring-like atmosphere. Registration and donations for children’s gift packages are being accepted at the dean’s office until March 15, 2026.

At the same time, the Club encourages participation in the 26th edition of the nationwide “Góra Grosza” campaign, organized by the “Nasz Dom” Association. The goal of the initiative is to support children and families, particularly those in the foster care system. The fundraiser involves donating coins with denominations ranging from 1 grosz to 5 zlotys.

Coins can be deposited in the collection boxes located in the main lobby on the ground floor of the UJW building at 6b Skalników Street in Polkowice. The collection will continue through March 29, 2026.
