Barrier-Free Digital Accessibility – Practical Training at UJW

Staff members at Jan Wyżykowski University participated in a two-day, hands-on training session titled “Barrier-Free Digital Accessibility: Principles, Best Practices, and Tools.”

During the training, participants learned how to identify barriers to digital accessibility, the principles for eliminating them, and best practices for creating content and materials that are more accessible to people with special needs, including people with disabilities.

The session was led by Nikolas Papenfus, who shared his knowledge, practical tips, and tools that participants can use in their daily work.

The training was another part of UJW’s efforts to promote accessibility and enhance staff competencies in this area. We view accessibility as a process of continuous learning, improvement, and implementation of solutions that help create a university that is more open and welcoming to everyone.
