UJW Begins a Partnership with the Lubin Zoo

The Jan Wyżykowski University has signed a cooperation agreement with the Lubin Zoo. The document was signed by Dariusz Zając, PhD, Assoc. Prof. and Rector of the Jan Wyżykowski University, and Agata Bończak, director of the Lubin Zoo.

The agreement opens up new opportunities for joint educational and outreach initiatives. The collaboration will include, among other things, organizing events, lectures, workshops, and other educational activities, as well as preparing materials and publications.

Issues related to nature, ecology, environmental protection, and biodiversity will play a special role in the planned initiatives.

Students from UJW, students at the University of the Third Age in Polkowice, and participants in the UJW Children’s University will also be able to get involved in these activities.

This agreement marks the beginning of a partnership that combines the University’s educational potential with the expertise of the Lubin Zoo. We look forward to joint projects, meetings, and initiatives that will help foster knowledge and interest in nature and environmental issues.
